Pencil Post Bed
This is a pencil post bed designed and built for a little girl. It is crafted in antique pine that is documented (by a mill stamp) to have come from a mill in Bastrop Texas in the 1870's.
The lumber was salvaged from an Austin bank building in the 1950's and saved in a barn until recently. We currently have a large quantity of this scarce species of 'Long Leaf Pine' ready for your next piece of furniture.
The side table is also a piece we crafted in antique pine.
