Mesquite and Antique Long Leaf Pine are among the woods we use to make our custom, handcrafted furniture and wood carvings. Much of our furniture is made from sustainable woods. This lumber comes from trees that were unwanted or were taken down in storms. Cypress and mequite are some of the woods we've acquired locally. Many of the trees are from ranches where mesquite is unwanted. Antique, Long Leaf PineAntique Pine is available for crafting into some of the most awesome looking furniture. This "Long Leaf Pine" was reclaimed in 1951 from an old Austin bank building. This lumber was milled in the 1880's. We were able to trace the origin of the mill from a stamp on the boards. The Lone Star Mill was in operation in Bastrop in the late 1800's and supplied this dense, tight-grained wood. The wood was stored in a barn since 1951.
