Mesquite Spider Side Table - This design was inspired by a long legged spider in the shop. The top is supported by a turned pedestal into which the legs are mortised. The delicate legs firmly support the table. This particular top has a unique defect that is filled with black epoxy. We like using Mesquite for this reason. The defects, such as cracks and worm holes, can add character and make each piece an original. Selecting just the right piece of wood for each design is fun and challenging.
